Location
( LIV-10 Leg Five Miles ZUWULI - Acupuncture Points ) On the anterior aspect of the thigh, 3 cun inferior to the upper border of the symphysis, on the lateral border of the adductor longus muscle.
How to find
Ask the patient to flex their adductors by pressing their feet against each other. LIV-10 is located in a groove on the medial border of the adductor longus muscle, where it forms an angle with the sartorius muscle.
Needling
Vertically 0.5–1.5 cun. Caution: Great saphenous vein, femoral artery/nerve.
Actions/Indications
● Relaxes the tendons and muscles
● Clears Damp-Heat from the Lower Burner
● Regulates the water passages
