I have found very quick and long lasting results by inserting 5 needles at a shallow angle around the point of maximum tenderness, all pointing toward the centre of the circle.  I believe it&#039;s called &quot;circling the dragon&quot;.
I certainly agree with you about the association between stress and back pain, but was not aware of a similar association with trochanteric bursitis.  I&#039;ll be watching for this from now on.
